UPDATE @ June 12 | Police are appealing for witnesses to a horror motorbike crash in Logan yesterday to come forward.
A motorcyclist was travelling west on Kingston Road at Waterford West around 3.00pm on Friday, when police say he attempted to overtake a car which was indicating to turn right onto Allora Street.
“It’s believed the motorcyclist hit the righthand side of the vehicle, the impact enough to ricochet him into the path of oncoming traffic, where he collided with a tip truck,” Qld Police said.

The 28-year-old local man was treated at the scene for a lengthy amount of time before being rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he remains fighting for life.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

EARLIER @ June 11 | A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a horror crash with a car in Logan this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Kingston Road and Loganlea Road at Waterford West just before 3.30pm, following reports of a serious crash.
Upon arrival, they found the rider of the bike suffering significant head and lower limb injuries.
The rider was treated at the scene by the High Acuity Response Unit before being rushed to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A second person was also assessed by paramedics for minor injuries, however declined to be taken to hospital.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.
