Motorcyclist in serious condition after horror Gold Coast crash

A man has been rushed to hospital following a nasty motorbike crash in Reedy Creek.

It happened along Kingsmore Boulevard and Tuckeroo Place just before 10.30am this morning.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the rider, a man aged in his 20s, slammed into a tree.


He suffered significant arm and leg injuries and was treated at the scene by Critical Care Paramedics and the High Acuity Response Unit.

The spokesperson confirmed the rider was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.

It comes just two days after a 25-year-old motorcyclist from NSW was killed after he collided with a water truck on the Pacific Motorway at Tugun.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing investigations into the fatal accident.
