Motorcyclist in ‘critical condition’ following horror crash in Logan

UPDATE @ 2.30 PM | POLICE have revealed that they’re investigating a serious crash between a car and mini motorbike which has left a man in a critical condition.

The accident happened on Wembley Road in Logan Central around 9.40am today.

The rider of the bike, a 28-year-old man, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life threatening injuries.


He’s currently in a critical condition.

The driver of the car, a 31-year-old woman, managed to escape uninjured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the collision.

EARLIER @ 11.00 AM | A MOTORCYCLIST has been rushed to hospital following a horror crash with a car in Logan Central this morning.

Emergency crews were called to Wembley Road just after 9.40am, following reports of a serious vehicle and motorcycle collision.

Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics treated the rider of the bike for significant facial and head injuries.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the high acuity response unit also responded to the accident.

The injured patient has since been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
