Motorcyclist killed after colliding with tree

A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed after losing control of his bike and crashing into a tree on Queensland’s Central Coast.

It happened at Kabra, 21km southwest of Rockhampton, around 7.30am on Saturday.

Police said a 32-year-old man was riding along Four Mile Road when he lost control, left the road and slammed into a tree.

Sadly, the man from Berserker sustained life-threatening injuries and could not be saved.

Police confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four Mile Road was closed for several hours while the Forensic Crash Unit examined the scene. It has since been reopened.
