Motorcyclist killed in Central Tablelands crash

A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed in a crash in the NSW Central Tablelands.

The accident happened in the historic village of Hartley, west of Sydney, around midday yesterday.

Police said the motorcyclist, man aged in his 40s, was riding along Jenolan Caves Road when he lost control and crashed.

The man sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.

No one else was injured during the incident.

A crime scene was established and investigations into the crash are continuing.
