Motorcyclist seriously injured after hitting wall at 200km/h in NSW

A MOTORCYCLIST has been seriously injured after hitting a wall at 200km/h in Sydney’s west.

The horror high-speed crash happened at the Eastern Creek Raceway on Saturday afternoon.

CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was deployed to Raceway and touched down on the track.

The rider, a man aged in his 30s, sustained serious injuries to his head, shoulders and back in the collision and was rendered unconscious on impact.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic took over and provided further treatment.

The man was stabilised at the scene before being transported to the Westmead Hospital in an ambulance.
