Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Surfers Paradise crash
A motorbike rider has suffered serious injuries in a nasty crash in Surfers Paradise overnight.
Emergency services were called to Rememberance Drive around 11.00 pm, following reports of the incident.
It’s understood a motorcycle had lost control and crashed, with no other vehicles believed to have been involved.
A man in his 20s was assessed briefly at the scene for head and soft tissue injuries.
He was then rushed to hospital for treatment, with critical care paramedics on board for transport.
He’s understood to be in a serious but stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
At 11:13 QAS attended a single motorcycle rider that struck a sign post at Remembrance Drive #SurfersParadise. The patient was treated for serious injuries and transported to GCUH with critical care paramedics.
