Motorist drives upon horrific crash scene

A MAN in his 20s has died following a horror crash on the NSW Central Coast this morning.

A motorist drove upon the scene of the crash on McDonagh Road at Wyong just after 3am.

Police said the motorist found the Toyota Hilux crashed in bushland after following a trail of debris on the road.

The driver of the Hilux, a 24-year-old man, was still alive but trapped in the wreck.

He was eventually freed and was airlifted to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital but sadly, his injuries were too severe and he was pronounced deceased on arrival.

A crime scene was established and examined by the forensic crash unit.
