Motorist hospitalised after early morning car rollover

A motorist has been taken to hospital after a car rollover on the Gold Coast this morning.

The accident happened at the intersection of Christine Avenue and Varsity Sound Avenue in Varsity Lakes just after 5.00am.

Three people were assessed at the scene by Queensland Ambulance paramedics.


One person was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with hip pain.

A QAS spokesperson said they were transported in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, a woman in her 70s was hospitalised overnight after a two car crash on Entertainment Drive in Oxenford at 6.00pm.
