An elderly man has been injured after plunging three metres down an embankment while returning to his home at Currumbin Waters overnight.
It’s understood the 75-year-old was driving down his steep driveway along Aethalia Street when he lost control around 6.30pm.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC the vehicle crashed through a timber wall before going down a three-metre embankment at the rear of the house.

“His Audi Coupe came to rest in the opposite direction lodged between two trees,” the spokesperson said.
The man suffered injuries to his face along with a cut to his forearm.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Robina Hospital.
