UPDATE @ 3.45 PM | Two men have been hospitalised, one in a serious condition, following a nasty crash in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Nerang Murwillumbah Road and Pine Creek Road in Numinbah Valley just after 2.00pm on Thursday.
Upon arrival, they found a car had rolled, with one man trapped in the vehicle.

Crews worked to free the man, aged in his 70s, who suffered head and chest injuries.
He was treated at the scene by critical care paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A second man, whose age is not known, managed to free himself from the car.
He suffered minor injuries and has been transported to the Uni hospital in a stable condition.
Nerang Murwillumbah Road remains closed between Pine Creek Road and Advancetown Road, with police urging motorists to avoid the area.
EARLIER @ 2.45 PM | Emergency crews are currently on the scene of a single-vehicle crash in the Gold Coast hinterland.
A car is believed to have lost control and rolled at the intersection of Nerang Murwillumbah Road and Pine Creek Road in Numinbah Valley.
Crews were called to the crash just after 2.00pm on Thursday.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC one man, aged in his 70s, remains trapped in the vehicle with crews working to remove him.
He is believed to have suffered head and chest injuries.
A second person, whose age and gender is not known, was able to remove themselves from the vehicle and is currently being treated by paramedics.
The spokesperson confirmed critical care paramedics are on the scene.
