Motorists warned of delays after separate car crashes on the Gold Coast

There’s been two big crashes on the Gold Coast this afternoon, with motorists warned of lengthy delays.

One happened along Ashmore Road in front of the Carpet Court just after midday.

Paramedics report that three vehicle were involved with the crash, with three people able to get out of their vehicles safely.


A fourth was assessed for neck pain but declined transport to hospital.

There are still heavy delays through the area.

While crews are still on scene in Burleigh Waters, after a multivehicle crash there as well.

It happened along Reedy Creek Road near the Bermuda Street intersection just before midday.

A woman has been hospitalised in a stable condition with a minor head injury, but luckily no other injuries were reported.

Traffic delays along Reedy Creek Road are very heavy, currently back past Mattocks Road.

While another big smash has happened  along Burleigh Connection Road southbound.

It’s holding up traffic in all directions at the intersection with Southport Burleigh Road.
