Australia’s original celebrity chef, Margaret Fulton, has died aged 94.
Fulton’s family confirmed the sad news in a statement on Wednesday.
“Early this morning our family lost our most treasured, inspirational and loving mother and grandmother, Margaret Fulton,” granddaughter Kate Gibbs wrote.

“Our hearts are too broken to respond to your messages right now, but we’re deeply grateful for your love and support.”
It’s understood the much-loved cookbook author died peacefully in her hometown of NSW this morning with her family close by.
Fulton was best-known for her “The Margaret Fulton Cookbook” which was released in 1968.
She was also awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 1983.
