Much-loved ‘Two and a Half Men’ actress dies aged 77
Two and a Half Men star Conchata Ferrell has passed away at the age of 77.
The much-loved actress was best known for her role as Berta the housekeeper on the popular TV series.
According to Deadline, Ferrell passed away on October 12 “as a result complications following a cardiac arrest”.
Two and a Half Men co-star Charlie Sheen has since taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the veteran actress.
“An absolute sweetheart, a consummate pro, a genuine friend, a shocking and painful loss,” Sheen wrote.
“Berta, your housekeeping was a tad suspect, your ‘people’ keeping was perfect.”

Meanwhile, fellow actor Jon Cryer described Ferrell as “a beautiful human”.
“Berta’s gruff exterior was an invention of the writers. Chatty’s warmth and vulnerability were her real strengths,” he wrote.
“I’m crying for the woman I’ll miss, and the joy she brought so many.”
