Multi-vehicle crash brings traffic to a halt on M1

A multi-vehicle crash has brought traffic to a standstill northbound on the Pacific Motorway, with motorists warned to brace for long delays.

The accident happened at Robina, just before Exit 77 around 9.20am.

It’s not yet known how many people, if any, have been injured.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads says all northbound lanes have been blocked with significant delays being experienced.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.

i just wanted to say a massive thank you to the community for your helping help when i had the accident i was blessed to have such amazing people help me and rush to my aid,

i would also like to say a massive thank you to all the ambos, police and fireman who also where there not to mention the hospital and its staff, i am very lucky to still be here thank you for all your support
