A Queensland Police spokesperson has confirmed that a ‘police incident’ is underway, but was not able to provide more detail on the matter.

It’s understood Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews have also been deployed.

There are heavy northbound delays near Eagleby, while southbound traffic is also pretty held up.

More to come.
