Mum accused of killing newborn denied bail
A Gold Coast mother, accused of killing of her newborn son, will remain behind bars.
Jodie Renee Tarnawskyj has been denied bail in Brisbane’s Supreme Court today, after the judge ruled she was a flight risk.
The 37-year-old, who has been in custody since October 2014, claims the boy was stillborn when he arrived in June of that year.
