Mum caught three times over the limit with kids in the car

A woman has been charged after being stopped with her three children in the car in the New South Wales southern highlands yesterday afternoon.

It’s alleged the woman was stopped on the Old Hume Highway at Berrima at around 3:20pm for a roadside breath test.

The 24-year-old returned a positive result and was arrested and taken to Bowral Police station, where she allegedly had a bloody reading of 0.132.

She has been issued with a Court notice and her license was suspended immediately.

She’s due in court in January 2017.

Her three children, aged 13, 11 and nine were in the car at the time, and Family and Community Services have been notified.
