A MAN has been found shot dead in a tin shed in the backyard of a house southeast of Melbourne.
The man, believed to be aged in his 60s, was found with a fatal gunshot wound in the shed of a Station Crescent home shortly before 11am on Saturday.
Police say they are treating the man’s death as suspicious and Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.

Neighbours have described the victim as a “typical battler” and a “lovely man” who “helped everyone out”.
A 45-year-old Baxter man was arrested yesterday but has since been released, pending further inquiries.
He is believed to be known to the deceased man.
