Channel Nine reporter Carrie-Anne Greenbank was at a Paint Store in South Murwillumbah where she spoke to Police who said they were investigating an incident which happened at 5.10am.
They set up a crime scene on Quarry Road, after a man in his 40’s was found dead and a man in his 20’s nursing injuries.
The death is being treated as suspicious.
Ms Greenbank also spoke to people who live nearby and said in April there was a similar attack at a granny flat. At that time a man was stabbed in the eye and a second man was critically injured.
Both were reportedly taken to the Gold Coast Hospital.
