Music teacher charged with indecently assaulting 6-year-old girl 20 times

A MUSIC teacher has been charged with indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl 20 times at an after school care facility in NSW.

The 21-year-old violin tutor is accused of assaulting the small child on multiple occasions during private lessons at Denistone East, in Sydney’s north.

Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad became aware of the allegations earlier this month.

Following extensive investigations, the 21-year-old man was arrested on Friday and charged with 20 counts of  indecently assaulting a person under the age of 16.

The man was remanded in custody on Friday night and scheduled to appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.

His employment at the after-school care centre has been suspended.
