Musical baby ball recalled from Toys “R” Us over serious choking fears

A popular musical ball toy, sold at Toys R Us stores nationwide, has been recalled over fears it poses a serious choking hazard to babies and toddlers.

The Bruin Wiggle Ball, intended for children 6 months and up, has been pulled from sale because the “ball’s rubber knobs and plastic back can detach from the ball creating a small part.”

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says the “small parts can present a choking hazard for children under 3 years of age.”
