My Kitchen Rules’ Sonya & Hadil hit back after being kicked off show

My Kitchen Rules contestants Sonya and Hadil have broken their silence following their shock exit from the Channel Seven cooking show this week.

The best friends from NSW were sent packing by judges Manu Feildel and Pete Evans on Wednesday night’s episode for verbally attacking rival team Jess and Emma.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the pair apologised for their “harsh words” but said they were edited to look bad by the show’s producers.

“There is more to the ‘scandal’ than meets the eye, however we take full responsibility for the words that came out of our mouths and we sincerely apologise.

“Like any reality TV show, no one but the people on-set filming 10-14 hour days know exactly what goes on behind the tears, the tension, the smiles, the reactions & the words exchanged. We will not apologise to the network who twisted, provoked and fuelled this entire situation all for ratings.”

It is unknown if Sonia and Hadid will make a return to My Kitchen Rules, however Channel Seven has hinted the scandal will be cleared up in Sunday’s episode.

Doesn’t matter how it was edited. What was said by these two morons was unacceptable.

Terribly bad form from the Jordanians! I understand that there were several teams “tarnished” or made to appear as the “villains” such as the Russians and the young guns who left early R&R, however, none stooped to the lows of the Jordanians. There is no excuse for rudeness, superiority complex and disrespectful attitude to everyone. Such an embarrassment!!!!
