Mystery surrounds man found with serious stab wound at Coomera
An investigation is underway after a man was found suffering a serious stab wound at Upper Coomera this morning.
The 39-year-old was discovered by road workers on Foxwell Road, who then alerted emergency services.
“A man suffering a serious stab wound walked to an intersection on Foxwell Road and approached two road workers, stating that he needed help,” Channel 7 reporter Bianca Stone told myGC.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before transporting him to Gold Coast University Hospital.

An investigation into the stabbing is now underway.
Police including the dog squad have arrived on scene to try and establish where the man came from and how he came to be injured.
Anyone who may have seen the man walking along the road or may know what happened to him, are urged to contact police urgently.
