NAIDOC week celebrations kick off on the Gold Coast

Gold Coasters are being encouraged to participate in a range of activities this week to support the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community during NAIDOC week.

Held across Australia from July 7-14, NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s theme is Voice. Treaty. Truth. which were three key elements to the reforms set out in the Uluru Statement from the Heart.


Here is a guide of all the events happening around the Gold Coast for NAIDOC Week 2019:
