If you love puppies, and let’s face it who doesn’t, then this is the story for you.
We are being invited to help name the latest litter of police puppies.
On Thursday, Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Services Mark Ryan and Commissioner Ian Stewart launched the naming comp but the catch is that all of the fluffy recruits must have names which start with the letter ‘G’.
And talk about gender equality, out of the litter of seven pups there are five girls and one boy and they just turned six weeks old.
Once old enough, these furry recruits with start training to hopefully become either general purpose or drug detection dogs.
Submit your name suggestion using the form here.
Nominations will close Tuesday, June 27 at 8am.
