Nate Myles to have shoulder surgery

TITANS co-captain Nate Myles will visit a specialist today for surgery on his left shoulder, an injury he has been carrying for several weeks.

“The extent of the injury will not be known until the operation. He may also have some damage to his bicep,” a club statement read.

“Until the surgery is carried out, the rehabilitation period cannot be confirmed but it is expected to be at least three months which would rule him out of selection consideration for the post-NRL season Tri Nations series.”

It is a further blow for the club, who are already missing Ashley Harrison (neck – retired), Ben Ridge (shoulder – season), Ryan James (shoulder – season) and Matt Srama (hip – seasoon)Dave Taylor (neck – possible rest of season),  Luke Douglas, (ASADA ban) and Albert Kelly (ASADA ban)
