Police are investigating following the near-drowning of a four-year-old boy in Sydney’s west.
Shortly after 3pm on Saturday emergency services were called to a leisure centre on Vine Street, Fairfield.
Police have been told the boy has gone into the deep end of the pool, either fallen or jumped in and was found unconscious.

Lifeguards pulled the boy out of the water and commenced CPR. A short time later the child was revived.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital.
