New dig site set up in Hinterland search for Gold Coast mother

A NEW dig site has been established in bushland west of the Gold Coast as Detectives hunt for the body of Linda Sidon.

The Gold Coast mum has not been seen since June 2009.

Her son, Daniel Heazlewood, 28, is currently in custody charged with her murder.

Police say he pointed out a number of areas in Numinbah Valley bushland earlier this week, suggesting where her remains could be located.

The new search area is approximately 200m from two sites, off Pine Creek Road, that were excavated yesterday.
