A new world-class women’s golf event will be held on the Gold Coast from next year.
The Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) has confirmed the Players’ Championship will be hosted at RACV Royal Pines in February.
“This event will provide the best Australian and international women’s players with a first-class tournament at a championship course,” RACV Managing Director and CEO Neil Taylor said.

It will replace the Australian Ladies Masters, which has long been held at Royal Pines.
The future of that tournament is now unknown.
