New security footage could be vital evidence in Jayde Kendall murder case

POLICE have released what could be vital evidence in the case against the alleged killer of Gatton teenager Jayde Kendall (pictured).

The CCTV footage allegedly shows the car driven by accused murderer Brenden Bennetts pass by a service station just 6km from where the 16-year-old’s body was discovered.

18-year-old Bennetts remains behind bars, after facing court yesterday. He has admitted he spent time with Jayde during the afternoon of August 14, the last time she was seen alive, but denies he killed her.

However, Newscorp claims the CCTV footage contradicts what he told police about his movements.

It’s also alleged Bennetts was caught twice by security cameras withdrawing money from Jayde’s bank account.
