Gold Coasters will be able to sip frosé and enjoy freshly shucked oysters at a brand new waterfront venue opening in Surfers Paradise this long weekend.
Surfers Pavilion was originally set to open in May, but will instead throw the doors open from 11am this Saturday.
The multimillion dollar venue is the brainchild of Artesian Hospitality – the team behind White Rhino, Sin City, Cali Beach Club and more – and boasts expansive and uninterrupted waterfront views, a dedicated frosé bar, interactive oyster and champagne stations, and a menu that features fresh and locally sourced seafood.

Highlights include fresh prawns, traditional fish & chips and a decadent signature cold and hot seafood platter, but there is also ample offerings for those who aren’t seafood fans.
Managing Partner at Artesian Hospitality Matthew Keegan said the venue was designed for the locals.
“It’s been a rapid transformation over the last couple of months. It’s such a beautiful spot and we are really excited to have transformed it into Surfers Pavilion,” he told myGC.
“We are all about locals coming here and having a good time. Whether you are coming in off the water or you are coming from the street, we want people to come here and enjoy fresh seafood, good drinks and a casual atmosphere.”
Mr Keegan said a mini marina will be installed outside the venue in the coming weeks.
“It will mean we can have multiple jetskis, boats from 20 foot up to 50 foot pull up out the front and come on up,” he said.
To celebrate the opening, Surfers Pavilion is hosting a party this Sunday called Sunset Sundays, with internationally acclaimed DJs The Stafford Brothers set to play.
“We are super excited to be back playing on the Gold Coast. We have been home for a year from America so it is great to have opportunities to play back in our home town,” the brothers told myGC.
“Sunset on Sunday, around 5pm, it will be going off here. Get ready for a big party, and a bit of frosé!”
Surfers Pavilion will open from 11am on Saturday 24th April. The venue will initially open from Thursday – Monday. For more information, visit: surferspav.com.au/
