New Zealanders smash world record for the largest ever Haka! [video]

Thousands of New Zealanders have come together to smash the world record for the biggest Haka ever.

A total of 7770 people converged on a field in Rotorua on Saturday, proudly taking back the title from France, who previously broke it with 4100 people.

Fascinating vision of the world record attempt was posted to YouTube by Paulie Tex, showing the crowd proudly stomping their feet.

The Haka is a Maori ceremonial war dance which is often performed by New Zealand sports teams’ before matches.
