A GOLD Coast nightclub has had its license officially cancelled following a series of police raids earlier this year.
The Courier Mail’s Gold Coast bureau this afternoon tweeted that the Office of Liquor and Gaming had cancelled the license of Surfers Paradise nightclub, Shuffle.
It’s understood the decision to cancel the club’s license was handed down late last week.

Shuffle’s license was suspended in April after police targeting the trafficking of dangerous drugs on the Gold Coast stormed several licensed venues along the Glitter Strip, including Club Liv.
Part owner of Club Liv, Ivan Tessic, was named as the alleged mastermind behind the sophisticated trafficking syndicate.
With no prohibited substances located during the raids at Shuffle, it remains unclear what prompted the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation to suspend and now cancel its license.
