Nightclub rapist set to sentenced

A Sydney man who sexually assaulted a teenager in his father's Kings Cross nightclub is set to be sentenced.

A Sydney man who sexually assaulted a teenager at the back of his father’s King Cross nightclub is set to be sentenced.

Luke Andrew Lazarus, 23, was found guilty after a trial earlier this year of sexual intercourse without consent of a 18-year-old woman at the back of Soho nightclub in May 2013.

Lazarus – whose father Andrew Lazarus runs Soho in Kings Cross and the Eastern Hotel in Bondi Junction – broke down on Thursday, saying how media reports of the verdict had left him unable to function.

He is due to be sentenced on Friday.
