NightQuarter have today announced they will not open for business tonight and Thursday night as previously planned.
The food marketplace was expected to open for trade every night of the Games, but today made the decision to remain closed until Friday.
On Facebook, NightQuarter said that while they attracted large crowds last weekend, they have decided to close on Wednesday and Thursday.

NIGHTQUARTER CLOSED WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, BACK BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY…
The news comes as many Gold Coast businesses and restaurants claim they have been struggling during the Games.
On Tuesday, Gold Coast Central Chamber of Commerce President Martin Hall issued a statement admitting that while the Games have provided an economic boost to “some” businesses in the city, the benefits are yet to be seen in the retail and hospitality industries.
“We had expected the Games to provide an economic boost [but] for retailers and the hospitality industry, this is yet to be evidenced.
“This is because regular customers may want to avoid the crowds, people are being warned against travelling on the roads or because a percentage of residents have left the city during the games.”
