As of 2020 you’ll be flicking from Seven to Nine for the tennis after the network today secured the exclusive broadcast rights to premium tennis events under a landmark agreement with Tennis Australia.
The five-year-deal is worth $300 million and will see the Australian Open as well as lead-up tournaments around Australia including the Hopman Cup and the Brisbane, Sydney and Hobart Internationals broadcast on the network.
“We are thrilled to have secured the rights to premium Australian tennis, particularly the Australian Open,” Nine CEO Hugh Marks said in a statement.

“The timing of tennis and the audience demographics it delivers are a perfect fit for Nine and its advertisers.”
Under the new deal, Nine has also acquired all streaming, mobile, digital and social media rights.
