Ninja Warrior viewers express disappointment over disqualification of deaf contestant
Viewers of the popular new competition series Ninja Warrior have taken to social media to vent their disappointment after deaf contestant Paul Cashion was disqualified.
The heartbreaking scenes played out on Channel Nine on Sunday night, when Cashion’s foot accidentally touched the water during the first obstacle.
After failing to hear the siren, the courageous warrior kept competing until he was finally flagged down by his son on the sidelines who had to break the unfortunate news.
The network seemed to have touched a nerve with viewers at home, with many taking to Facebook and Twitter after Cashion’s performance.

I’m sorry but shame on you for showing poor Paul @Channel9 #NinjaWarriorAU using his disability to create tension with that editing ?
