A man who allegedly sparked a massive Police operation on the Gold Coast will stay behind bars after fronting court.
The 21-year-old who was armed with a rifle is accused of threatening to kill his partner and the two people she lived with at Upper Coomera.
He was confronted by a 67-year-old neighbour who tried to disarm him, but drove off, leading police on a chase across several suburbs.

He was eventually arrested in Oxenford, with a rifle found in a car he had allegedly hijacked at gunpoint from a young woman.
The Gold Coaster, who cannot be named, did not apply for bail and will return to court on December 7.
He’s been charged with multiple offences including dangerous operation of a vehicle, armed robbery and going armed to cause fear.
