Queensland has now gone 45 days without a case of community transmission across the state.

However officials are warning people not to become complacent.

Just over 2500 tests were carried out on Saturday, well below the state’s benchmark.

Meantime tests on crew members off a cargo ship off the Queensland coast are continuing.

Two crew members were evacuated to the mainland after testing positive to the virus.

Medical experts are still trying to determine what strain of COVID the pair has, amid concerns it may be one not seen here before.
