No new local cases diagnosed in Queensland overnight

A slight sigh of relief for Queensland this morning, with no new local cases of coronavirus diagnosed overnight.

It comes after a flight attendant travelled all around the state for about a week while infectious, causing exposure sites to pop up.

There were two sites on the Gold Coast alone, one at Koi restaurant in Broadbeach and one at Dreamworld.

Despite the good news, Queenslanders are still being urged to come forward for testing at even the slightest of symptoms.

There were over 14,000 tests conducted over the last 24 hours.

Queensland Health officials are expected to provide more information later on.
