Carers do extraordinary work supporting those of us who are less able to look after ourselves, and now we can give a carer in the Tweed the recognition they deserve by nominating them for a NSW Carers Award.
The 2017 NSW Carers Awards will coincide with this year’s Carers Week, which will run from 15 – 21 October 2017. The Awards are open for individual carers, as well as organisations, employers and education providers who demonstrate best practice in supporting carers.
Member for Tweed, Geoff Provest said: “This is a great way to thank and acknowledge the significant contributions carers make to the Tweed community.
