Eels star Corey Norman facing drug charges

Parramatta NRL star Corey Norman faces drugs charges after allegedly getting caught with a small container of pills at Sydney’s The Star Casino.

He was with some other men when they were stopped at the entrance to the casino last Friday night for a security check.

Norman reportedly had some MDMA capsules, but it’s claimed a friend said they were his.

The Eels five-eighth will face Downing Centre Local Court on July 13.

Norman was also warned by New South Wales Police on Wednesday after he enjoyed a meal with a group including convicted criminals the same night.

Fellow Parramatta player Junior Paulo and Norman’s housemate, Penrith hooker James Segeyaro were also warned after Paulo posted a photo of the gathering at a Chinese Restaurant on Instagram.
