It’s reported the girl involved in the incident is just six-years-old.

One of the two 12-year-old boys arrested over the incident has since been charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault and two counts of sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 10.

He was granted bail to appear at a children’s court on Thursday 22 September.

The second boy is facing two charges of aggravated sexual assault and sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 10.

He too has been granted bail and will appear before a children’s court on Thursday 20 October.

“Parents and carers of students at the school are in the process of being notified,” police said today.

Police have requested the community respect the privacy of the young people involved and say additional support has been made available at the school.
