NSW Christian teacher charged after girl, 14, sexually assaulted in classroom

A TEACHER from a NSW Christian school has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting one of his students – not once, but twice.

It’s alleged the 41-year-old man assaulted his victim, a 14-year-old girl, in a classroom at the north-western Sydney school in late 2012, and again at a private residence in Sydney’s south-west during the middle of 2013.

Detectives from the Child Abuse Squad’s Penrith office have arrested the teacher and charged him with one count each of aggravated indecent assault and procuring a child under 16 years of age for sexual activity, and two counts of common assault.

He’s since been granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Penrith Local Court on October 21.

Anyone with concerns about suspected child abuse or exploitation should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au/.
