NSW cop charged with low-range drink driving
A NSW police officer has been charged with drink driving after testing positive to an RBT in Wollongong.
Highway Patrol officers were conducting a random breath testing operation on Five Islands Road at Cringila around 1.50am on Saturday when the driver of a white ute tested positive for alcohol.
The driver, a 24-year-old off-duty constable, was arrested and taken to Kembla Police Station where a breath analysis returned a reading of 0.063.
He was charged with low-range drink driving and is due to front Port Kembla Local Court on 6 January 2016.
