A MAN who suffered horrific injuries in a motorcycle accident in the state’s west last month has died in hospital.
The 56-year-old was one of four motorcyclists travelling in a group along Wanaaring Road, about 80km east of Tibooburra, on Tuesday 8 September when he lost control and crashed about 2.45pm.
Police say he slid for close to 20 metres, sustaining head, back, eye and rib injuries.

He was rushed to Tibooburra Hospital before being airlifted to Royal Adelaide Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday afternoon.
