A DRIVER whose passenger was killed in a serious two car crash near Bathurst last month has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.
The accident happened along Sofala Road at Kelso just after 6am on Monday 21 September when a Ford Falcon collided with a Nissan utility.
The front-seat passenger of the Falcon – a 42-year-old woman – died at the scene.

The driver – a 49-year-old man – was taken to Bathurst Base Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and subjected to mandatory blood and urine testing.
The 42-year-old male Nissan driver escaped unhurt but was also taken to hospital to undergo mandatory testing.
Following inquiries by the Crash Investigation Unit, the 49-year-old man was arrested at Orange Police Station on Thursday afternoon and charged with several offences, including negligent and dangerous driving occasioning death.
