NSW hit by heavy rain, hail and even a tornado
HEAVY rain and hail bombarded Sydney overnight, with flash flooding causing chaos across the CBD even a tornado tearing through Dubbo.
By 5am, NSW SES had responded to 579 emergency calls for help and attended 34 flood rescues.
Social media was inundated with videos and photos of the storm.

Earlier, video footage emerged of a small tornado over Dubbo. One resident told Nine News the tornado hit late yesterday afternoon, bringing the ceiling down.

It’s understood the tornado has caused damage to at least seven homes.
