DETECTIVES are appealing for information to try and piece together the last movements of a homeless man whose bloodied body was found slumped under a bridge in Bathurst.
The man, formally identified as 69-year-old Reginald Mullaly, was found dead under the Denison Bridge at around 10am last Sunday, 20 September.
Police said Mr Mullaly had died from significant head injuries and multiple stab wounds.

Detective Inspector Luke Rankin is pleading with members of the local community who may have seen or come in contact with Mr Mullaly in the days leading up to Sunday 20 September to come forward.
“Police divers have searched the Macquarie River near where Mr Mullaly was found and Strike Force Yenna detectives have also been following up valuable information that we have received from the community,” Detective Inspector Rankin said.
“At this stage of our inquiries we have been able to establish the last confirmed sighting of Mr Mullaly was about 3.30pm on 17 September 2015.
“We are keen to talk to anyone who may have had any dealings with Mr Mullaly around or after that time.”
